StimBroker is a service designed to work with the apps that I have created for controlling the Estim Systems 2B over the internet. Estim Systems have their own 'Commander' app, which allows for remote control, however configuration is tricky for some users. StimBroker makes configuration simple - all you need is the email address of another registered user, and you can connect without having to change any firewall settings. It works with both my Windows/Mac app, Estim Control/Server and with eStim 4 Android. For a more detailed description, see this page.
You can find out more about my apps elsewhere on this site, and they're free to download and use. Just like with Commander, you can also connect remotely without using StimBroker, but you'll have to configure your network. StimBroker makes it much, much simpler - and you can try it free of charge.
All you need to do is to register on this site, and then enter the details in your app. (Previously, you could register in the app, but for the moment, that's not possible). You'll be able to use StimBroker for two weeks, to see if you find it useful. This page has a quick explanation of how it works, and what you'll see on screen.
When I first added the broker service to my apps in 2014, the settings screens indicated that a subscription would be required at some future date. At the moment, I don't make money out of the apps, since they're free, but the server that provides StimBroker costs money to run and I'm not really earning anything at the moment. So, from June 2017 I'll be asking for modest donations, in return for access to the StimBroker service.
To be able to use StimBroker, you need to create an account on this site, using your email address, and adding a secondary address for the other user you want to connect to (or who will be connecting to you). Both addresses will receive two weeks' access automatically, and you're not restricted to connecting just to the other address on your account. You can connect to any other user.
After two weeks, you'll need to make a donation to carry on using StimBroker. For every £5 you donate, you'll receive a month's access, and if you donate £50 or more, you'll receive access for a year. That represents not much more than a pint of beer a month, and I hope that you'll consider it a fair reward for the many hours I've spent creating the software to control your estim unit.
